Some year ago S2 Games removed all the information about Savage 1 and Savage 2 from their homepage. Sure, the game is 10 years old but they kept the master server for Savage 2 up however that game got a lot less players than what Savage XR have.

S2 Games just closed down the Savage: The Battle for Newerth master server, a game that is still being played and is now known as Savage XR.
