In order not to stress the server too much, it may wait with the report until the next task of the project is done.
I don't see why that should have affected my BOINC installation, but if anybody has ideas I'm open. Ready to report: Waiting to notify the scheduling server. Afterwards, however, I rebooted and went back to my normal Ubuntu installation. As part of that process I chroot-ed into the new partition.

The machine isīy way of a hint, the only thing new I did yesterday, before this problem cropped up, was starting to install Gentoo Linux in a separate partition.
Second the work that has been sent back is Ready to Report its. I installed BOINC on this machine a week ago and it has been running Einstein without problems as well. If the status of your payment is Ready to Process, then the total of your payment was. I have been running Einstein on a number of machines for a couple of months now and have not had this problem before. The last point also answers HBE's question. Boinc manager logs says: (BOINC can't access Internet - check network connection or proxy configuration.) but the Boinc Manager says (Ready to report) stuck in iptables. This particular machine is not doing work on any other projects. The Ready to Report (RtR) is the 2nd step in a 2 part reporting cycle to ensure that a completed Task's files are properly transmitted, cross-verified as being totally correct received by the servers and confirmed. preferences, the BOINC core client will report if checkpointing is ready. I did try that followed by a resume, just to see if that would unstick it, but it made no difference. hashes on a small grid test bed using a software package called BOINC. I'm running 6.12.34 on Linux 64-bit host.
